The venue itself is very nice and provides plenty parking. They work very hard to make sure every detail is perfect for their clients. I can't say enough wonderful things about Christina and Stover Hall.

My husband and I were immediately comfortable with Christina--and honestly we weren't quite sure what to expect as a gay couple in rural Virginia. She made us feel welcome from the very start and she went above and beyond in making our day truly special! And the location, the facilities, and the scenery are just spectacular.

Choosing to have our wedding at Stover Hall was the absolute best decision we made in our wedding planning. It is a magnificent venue with even better owners. Christina and Wes put in the time and effort you might expect from a Maid of Honor or Best Man. They show the pride and concern you might expect from your parents. They show up with the support, enthusiasm and optimism you would expect from that one guest you can’t imagine getting married without them there. Christina and Wes give their couples something better than incredible customer service, or even royal treatment. They treat them like family.

Stover Hall is an amazing venue with amazing people! Christina and Wes went above and beyond throughout the entire weekend to make the wedding great. Starting from check in on Friday, everything went smoothly. Christina and Wes were there to answer questions and help set up. Wes jumped right into the back of the truck to unload boxes and Christina immediately started helping set up.

The house, cottage and barn were gorgeous, beautifully decorated and immaculate. There were plenty of towels and linens for everyone in both the house and cottage. There were even books and movies for guest use.

It was perfect to be able to be right on site, to be able to finish some things up late at night, but more importantly to be able to get ready for the wedding so close to the venue.

On the wedding day Christina and Wes were right back there helping finish up the last minute things that had to be done. They had extra decorations that we were able to use to fill in what we had.

We had the rehearsal dinner at the house as well. We were able to use the grill to cook as well as the kitchens. The sun room/dining room was plenty big for everyone at the rehearsal, plus the outdoor seating was nice. The pool was beautiful and well maintained.

I was attending and assisting with this wedding and I would recommend Stover Hall to ANYONE looking to get married.

There are tons of places for beautiful pictures (and I haven't even seen all the pics yet). The fields, mountains, barn and house make for gorgeous backgrounds.

I could go on and on about this venue. We can't thank Christina and Wes enough for their help and hospitality!

My husband and I just got married at Stover Hall. We fell in love with the venue the moment we saw it. What sealed the deal for us on this venue wasn't the gorgeous plantation house, the inviting mountain views that reminded me of my childhood spent growing up in Rappahannock, and it wasn't the rustic barn that fit exactly what we wanted for our reception. The venue had everything we wanted for our wedding and more, so who wouldn't want to pick this place to get married? It was a big decision to make, but what made that decision so easy was the owner Christina. She took us on a tour, and then spent the next 4 hours talking to us. She has such a kind heart. She is the sweetest person with the most contagious bubbly personality. You can really tell how much she loves what she does because she puts her heart into all her work. She does everything she can to make sure all of her bride and grooms' wedding dreams come true. She helped bring my vision of our wedding to life, adding finishing touches that I never even thought of. Christina and her husband Wes own the property, and they are the best!!!

This place is the best! Not only was the venue beautiful but the house and amenities for your guests are amazing. I had almost my whole bridal party stay there and it was a 3 day celebration. Christina and Wes did anything asked of them plus went above and beyond requests. My wedding day was supposed to be a wash out, it wasn't thankfully but they were fully prepared. Plus it was in the 50s but that didn't stop anyone from having a good time and they made it comfortable for all the guests. I could not be more happy. It was absolutely perfect and I have Stover Hall to thank for a majority of it.
